Uppsala 2019 – Successful first CRISH edition contributes to new solutions for healthcare challenges

The Uppsala edition of CRISH 2019 took place in November 21-22 at Uppsala University.

During the two day workshop participants got the chance to explore methods to co-create innovative solutions for health.

The workshop led by experienced co-creation professionals including those with academic knowledge in patient involvement, design thinking, innovation support (Region Uppsala innovation) and experiential knowledge through lived experience as an informal caregiver.

The attendees were a mix of experienced patients, researchers and health professionals. Over the course of the two days ideas were exchanged about co-design theory as well as practical course exercises and projects which culminated in a project pitch.

Some excellent ideas were presented, highlighting the importance of different competencies and what they can bring to the innovation process.

The feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive and we would like to thank all those involved for contributing towards new solutions for today’s health care challenges!
